The work session is only 20 minutes. Could be more?

The BINETIX PTM work session reflects the time a user of the system can perform a particular set of operations. The work session is automatically started by the system and is always individual to each user - this means that two users can not use the system with the same user name from different workstations.

The duration of the session is unlimited - the duration of the inactivity session is limited to 20 minutes. This means that if you work regularly with the product, the idle time will automatically be extended. If you do not work for 20 minutes, it will automatically exit the system.

Why do you need such functionality?

Mainly due to security considerations that are normally imposed by the financial institution you are working on and good practices for working in large organizations with sensitive information. The automatic exit, for example, prevents accidental use of the product by unauthorized persons who would benefit from your absence.

Can I increase the auto-exit time for inactivity?

Not personally, of course, but yes this parameter is configurable. The change needs to be aligned with your internal security rules and a formal request for change need to be made to BINETIX.
