When generating MT202 for General Financial Transfer, field 56a for Intermediary Institution is optional and its completion depends on the type of documentary operation.
In addition to transaction, reference, date, amount, currency, and payee information, you can optionally specify field 56a.
Note: According to the MT 2017 standard field 57a (Account With Institution) should be also populated correctly.
