No, the system does not automatically create a documentary record when receiving SWIFT ACK (Acknowledgement) or SWIFT NACK / NAK (Negative Acknowledgement).
Messages of this type are transmitted by a counter bank as a result of an already initiated inter-bank communication and serve to confirm (positive or negative) an existing MUR (Message User Reference) reference, which must be filled in correctly in block 108 of Block 4 to an ACK or NACK message.
When transmitting a standard SWIFT message from the PTM, the system automatically sends to the opposite bank MUR of the type LBR0001234567, which corresponds to the number of the document dossier from which the message was broadcast. Upon receiving a confirmation message, the system expects to receive an existing MUR to attach it to existing PTM file. If no MUR file is detected, the ACK / NACK received is recorded as unrecognized. Unrecognized messages can be manually attached to existing files from the Unrecognizable screen.
Note: Cases in which only inter-bank communication is initiated without the means of the system, such as a bank transfer, require the user to manually create a documentary record in PTM and, if necessary, attach manually received messages where the counterpart has not indicated an actual MUR.
